Buckley Yacht Design (BYD) is an innovative UK based design and engineering business based right here in Southampton. The Buckley family have a long history of manufacturing trailer sailers, most notably building over 400 of the Hawk 20s. Spotting that there has been a gap in the market for affordable high performance trailer sailers in recent years BYD decided to create their own – the BTC22.
