Astus 20.2 Sport + Road Trailer

Just sold subject to contract!  A great example of the super popular Astus 20.2 Sport. With the owner curcumnavigating the British Isles on a bigger yacht, this pocket rocket ‘White Mice’ is now sold. The trimaran comes with its own break-back road trailer, a 5HP 4-stroke outboard, fully battened laminate mainsail and furling laminate jib, furling gennaker on a retractable bowsprit and a chart-plotter.

The Astus 20.2 sport has been one of Astus’ most popular boats with over 100 built until it was replaced by the 20.5 in 2018. The 20.2 was prized due to its blistering performance whilst still offering accomodation for two in the cosy cabin and full trailerability.  Weighing in at under 400kg this trailer sailer can be towed behind a small family car and easily moved around by hand on your driveway. The 20.2 Sport can be easily rigged, launched, sailed singlehanded but can also cater for a crew of up to 7 on lakes and rivers (Cat D) or 5 for coastal sailing (Cat C). Despite being a high performance boat the 20.2 Trimaran sails with very little heel – so even anxious crew members feel safe and secure whilst thrill seekers can get their speed kick! White Mice is a 2010 built example of the 20.2 Sport and has clearly been carefully looked after. The hulls show very little evidence of knocks or scrapes. Much of the boat’s life seems to have been spent on in-land lakes – the trailer looks like it has been rarely sea water immersed. During the last 9 months the owner has made a range of improvements. So White Mice comes prepared for sale with:

• Brand new running rigging, including dyneema back-stays
• Trampolines professionally overhauled, including new webbing edges
• An engine service
• A full trailer service including new wheels and tyres
• Float decals replaced
• Cabin cushion covers washed.
