She’s Back! This fine example of the Beneteau First 211, ‘Blue Panda’, has just come back onto the market due to the owner’s ill health.

The Beneteau First 211 is a high performance trailer sailer. A combination of a 6 foot deep, fully ballasted lifting keel and twin retractable rudders give these pocket rockets great pointing ability and stiffness. Yet, the First 211s offer plenty of comfort and safety with all lines leading back to the cockpit, stack-pack lazy jacks and lots of buoyancy. There’s room for 4 adults down below in a stylishly designed cabin, including a chemical wc, sink and stove.

Blue Panda comes with a newly configured road trailer, high quality sails, Raymarine Speed & Depth, Tillerpilot, Chartplotter, Clipper Wind system and a 2014 Mariner 5hp outboard motor.

Having been little used in the last 4 years Blue Panda was given a huge overhaul by us last year to prepare her for new owners. Work carried out included:
A September 2019 independent survey – all significant items addressed
Brand new standing rigging (2020)
Most running rigging replaced with new (2020)
Brand new stainless steel keel brackets + spacers (2020)
New rudder bearings (2020)
Brand new Clipper mast-top wind transducer and cockpit display (2020)
Freshly valeted North main sail (2020)
Internal and external woodwork sanded and varnished (2020)
Topsides compounded and machine polished (2020)
Ground tackle serviced (2020)
Brand new ship’s battery added (2020)
Thetford 335 chemical wc added (2020)
Newer (2014) fully serviced Mariner 5hp outboard added (2020)
Admiral trailer added, configured and fully serviced

Since the owner took possession we have also:

Added a mast lifting kit (2020)
Added a solar panel and regulator (2020)
Added the owner’s tiller pilot with a bespoke bench mounting and electric socket (2020)
Replaced the bilge pump (2020)
Re-sealed the portholes (2020)
Replaced the outboard engine bracket (2020)

The owner has also added:

Two hanked-on headsails
A chartplotter (2020)
Two new layers of antifoul (2021)

As a result of all this work Blue Panda gleams once again.
