‘Gherkin’ is a great unadulterated example of the popular Cornish Crabbers design.

This Mark 2 model, comes with a very quiet Tohatsu 6hp 4 stroke outboard, a light and airy 2 berth cabin with bags of storage space, tan sails in good condition, bomb-proof endless loop jib furler, cockpit cushions, stainless steel swimming ladder, a huge amount of cockpit locker space, 10kg anchor with 16m of chain + 20m of line and an optional piggyback road/launch trailer (not pictured).

This year Gherkin has undergone a full refurbishment, including;
New standing rigging
Fully stripped spars and 8 layers of Epiphanes varnish applied
Fully stripped rudder, tiller and outboard bracket with 8 layers of Epiphanes varnish applied
A keel service, including a new keel wire and pivot bolt
An outboard engine service
A new washboard and aft mast support made and varnished
Jib furler stripped and serviced
Hull stripped back to gelcoat, re-primed and antifouled
Topsides compound cut and waxed
Interior cushions freshly laundered
Sails and mainsail cover freshly laundered
Running rigging washed an replaced where required.
