Cornish Shrimper 19 Mk2 + Trailer + Big Spec!

Just in and ready for sale, ‘Puffin’, a well specced example of the popular Cornish Shrimper 19. (We’re still adding photos).

The Cornish Shrimper has been the most succesful model on the Cornish Crabbers range. Introduced in 1979 this charming little gaff rigged GRP boat has been one of the most popular trailer sailers ever made. Over 1100 of these super little yachts are now in existance. Well built and reliable, these boats have built something of a cult following, with both active racing and cruising disciples. Shallow drafted with their lift keels and rudders these pocket yachts can go anywhere whether it be shallow creeks or towed on the roads of  Europe in search of exotic cruising locations. Although predominantly used for daysailing, the Shrimper 19 offers accomodation for 2 down in the cosy cabin, 4 in some of the Mark 2 models. They’re good seakeepers too – one of our customers has singlehandedly circumnavigated the British Isles in one!

Puffin is an early example of the prized Mark 2 boats. These featured a raised coachroof for more headroom down below as well as a larger cabin and a self draining cockpit.

So, she is ready to tow away and sail for the rest of the season.
