Cornish Shrimper 19 Mk2 with trailer

Sorry, if your looking for a Mark 2 Shrimper 19 in great condition this one has gone. We were commissioned by a client to find him the ideal boat. We found her, assessed her and made recommendations for the work that needed doing. We then negotiated the purchase and took care of all the paperwork. We then collected her on the new owner’s behalf and set about carrying out all the remedial work we recommended, together with the additions that the owner wanted. As a result she had:

• Stripped and varnished spars (8 layers of Epiphanes)
• A new solar panel & regulator
• A 2nd battery with split charge relay
• New standing rigging
• A new main sail cover
• A new UV strip for the jib
• Washed running rigging
• Washed and stitched cabin cushions
• A trailer service
• An inboard engine check-over
• An overhauled keel – dropped out, fully sealed  and antifouled with new pivot pin and cable
• An epoxy repaired, re-varnished rudder
• Sanded grab-rails and rubbing strake
• Hull sand and new antifoul
• Compound polish and wax.
