Seascape 18 + Trailer

Sold !  This lovely little Seascape 18 blasting machine has just been sold from Bucklers Hard on the Beaulieu river.

The Seascape 18 was the smallest of the range and displays all of the charactaristics of the other boats; early planing, a lifting keel and a whole lot of fun! The Seascape 18 was rightfully named ast European Yacht of the Year in 2010, and no wonder. Weighing in at less than half a tonne, this performance boat can be towed on an unbraked trailer and, because the swing keel slots right back inside the hull, the Seascape 18 can float in 6″ of water. So, launching and recovery off a trailer is a doddle and beaching this boat is a genuine option. A keelbox mounted lifting eye provides an easy hoisting option.

Coming with a generous sail plan, including a gennaker which is flown off the retractable bowsprit these boat can really fly. The huge cockit can easily take a racing crew of 2 or 3 and the Seascape 18 is rightfully popular on the racing scene all around the UK and Europe. Yet, featuring a cuddy cabin with a v-berth bed in the bow, as well as an innovative cockpit tent, the Seascape 18 can be used as a cruiser for family camping style weekending too. The boats are easy to sail, even single handed.

The example of the Seascape 18 which is coming up for sale now is in excellent shape. The hull and topsides are pretty much flawless and the cockpit and deckware don’t show any signs of heavy or racing use which usually comes with these pocket rockets.
