A New Dealership for Pointer Yachts Wednesday 13th December 2023
We’re excited to share that we have a new regional dealership for Pointer Yachts on the East Coast. We have signed an agreement for Suffolk Yacht Services to distribute the full range of Pointer Yachts. As well as the Pointer 22, already offered by Boats on Wheels, Suffolk Yacht Services will also distribute the Pointer 25 and the exciting new Pointer 30 model.
Pointer Yachts are designed and built at the renowned yard, Jachtwerf Heeg BV, based in the Northern Netherlands. Jachtwerf Heeg have been building shoal draft keelboats for over 60 years, starting with the Van de Stadt designed, Randmeer, in 1962 and culminating in the contemporary Pointer designs during the last 10 years.
Commenting on the new deal, Will Farnell of Suffolk Yacht Services said: “We’re delighted to be offering the Pointer range to customers on the East Coast. We think that these contemporary shoal draft yachts are ideally suited to the Norfolk Broads, the East Coast estuaries and the shallow coastal waters of our region”.
Operating predominantly from Woolverstone Marina near Ipswich, Suffolk Yacht Services have just taken delivery of a new Pointer 22 demonstrator for viewings and demo sails on the River Orwell. Other Pointer demo models will follow in future but in the mean-time Suffolk Yacht Services will happily facilitate factory visits and demo sails on the larger boats via a short hop across the North Sea.
