Unique Cornish Shrimper 19 Mk2 with Impressive Pedigree + Inboard + Trailer

Just Sold, Grace III, a Cornish Shrimper 19 Mark 2 with inboard engine and trailer.

Grace III has circumnavigated the British Isles in a single handed 5 year voyage! It’s not surprising that this feat has been undertaken in a Cornish Crabbers Shrimper 19. Sturdily built with good sea-going characteristics, the Cornish Shrimper 19 is more than capable of prolonged coastal cruising. Yet, weighing a little over 1 tonne and having a draught of only 18″ with the keel retracted these little cruisers make great trailer sailers too. So, whether you’re just seeking to day-sail in a local estuary or you want to visit far off shores by land or sea the Shrimper 19 is sure to fit the bill.

Grace III is a Mark 2 Cornish Shrimper 19 with raised coachroof for more room below decks. She comes complete with a Bramber road trailer, a Yanmar 1GM 10 inboard diesel engine, two sets of sails, an all over winter cover, Coppercoat antifouling (2021), Simrad TP10 Autohelm, Raymarine ST40 depth & log and a Darglow feathering prop with rope cutter. As well as the cavernous storage space in the forepeak she also benefits from additional well finished storage racks in the cabin. Grace III was featured in a book of the epic singlehanded journey around Britain and a copy of the book comes with the boat.

Grace III has been well maintained and in recent years has benefitted from a major engine overhaul in 2020-21, brand new Copper Coating in 2020-21 and a trailer service in 2019 (since then, no sea water immersion). Further work has been carried out to replace the log transducer and to replace the mast-head light with an LED tricolour.
